About easymower

easymower is an independent comparison site for robot lawn mowers sold in the UK. We want to help you work out which mower suits your lawn, what it really costs, and where it's cheapest today, without wading through marketing copy.

What we do

• Catalogue every robot mower on sale in the UK, from Husqvarna and Worx to newer wire-free brands, with specifications recorded from manufacturer spec sheets, manuals and warranty terms. Each figure is stored with its source.
• Track prices at manufacturer stores and UK retailers several times a day, and show price history so you can tell a real drop from a normal price. See how we get prices.
• Score and compare models using a published method: part calculated from specifications and prices, part editorial judgement. See how we score.
• Explain the choices in plain English through guides, comparisons and free tools such as the lawn size calculator and the robot mower finder.

We haven't tested these mowers hands-on yet

Our verdicts are desk research: specifications, manuals, warranty documents and the manufacturers' own claims, checked against each other. Where a claim looks optimistic or contradicts the maker's own documents, we say so. We don't invent owner experiences, and every page is marked as not tested.

We plan to add hands-on testing. When a page is based on time with the product, it will say so clearly and show what was measured.

Independence

No manufacturer or retailer pays to be included, to be ranked higher or to be reviewed more kindly. Rankings in our tables and in the finder come from the published rules, not from commercial relationships. Our full approach is in the editorial policy.

How the site makes money

Today, easymower doesn't earn anything from the links on the site. Retailer links are ordinary direct links. We count clicks on them, without collecting personal data, so we know which retailers readers find useful.

Later we expect to join affiliate programmes, where a retailer pays a small commission if you buy after clicking through. The price you pay stays the same. When that starts, affected links will be marked and every page with them will carry a clear disclosure. Links and affiliates explains the details.
