Nothing has dropped enough to count as a deal
We check every tracked price several times a day. A drop appears here automatically when a price falls at least 7% below its 30-day typical or hits a 90-day low, and disappears when it goes back up.
How we decide something is a deal
A price is only listed as a deal when one of these is true for the same model at the same retailer:
- The price is at least 7% below that retailer’s median price over the last 30 days, or
- it is the lowest price we’ve seen at that retailer in 90 days.
- We need at least 14 days of price history before we call anything a deal.
That means a retailer can't create a deal here by raising a price for a week and then "cutting" it. It also means a model that's always cheap at one shop won't appear as a deal just because another shop charges more. The "Was" column shows the 30-day typical price we recorded, and the percentage is measured against that.
Every price also passes our validation checks before it appears, and prices we can't refresh are removed. The details are in how we get prices.
Before you buy
A lower price only helps if the mower suits your garden. Check the rated area against your lawn (the lawn size tool measures it on a map), the slope rating, and whether you want a boundary wire. The mower finder does this in a few questions. Look at the stock column too: some drops are clearance of a model that's being replaced.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't you show the retailer's 'was' price?
Because a crossed-out price can be an old or rarely charged figure that makes a discount look bigger than it is. We compare with the retailer's own typical price over the last 30 days, which we've recorded ourselves.
How often are deals updated?
Deals are rechecked every time we refresh a price. For the most popular models and the manufacturer stores that's every six hours for most of the year and every two hours in peak season. A deal disappears automatically when the price goes back up.
Why is a model on sale elsewhere but not listed here?
We may not track that retailer, the retailer may block automated price checks, or we may not yet have 14 days of price history for it. It's also possible the price has been at that level for a while, in which case it's the normal price rather than a drop.
