STIGA A v range large (A 50v to A 140v)

How it navigates and sets up

The large v range is wire-free with no antenna in the garden. A quad-band satellite receiver takes RTK corrections from Stiga's network over built-in 4G, and an AI camera recognises grass and obstacles. You map the grounds in the STIGA.GO app and can install it yourself or through a dealer.

It won't mow without 4G. Stiga says the robot needs its cloud connection to start. On a large site, check mobile signal in the far corners and along tree lines, and remember satellite accuracy drops under heavy cover. See our network RTK and 4G guide.

Cutting

Six pivoting razor blades on a disc cut 260 mm, with height set in the app from 20 mm to 65 mm. The slope rating is 50% inside the lawn and 20% at the perimeter; our slopes guide explains the numbers. Stiga's manual gives a guaranteed 63 dB(A), which is on the loud side and worth considering if the lawn is near neighbours. A rain sensor is fitted.

App, connectivity and security

STIGA.GO handles up to 30 zones, no-go areas, schedules and Alexa. Connectivity is included for ten years, then paid annually. All three models have a theft alarm, account lock and GPS location in the app.

Running costs, warranty and support

The UK pages for the A 50v and A 100v include a 3 years warranty; the A 140v page doesn't say. Stiga doesn't state whether it can be extended. Prices start from £2,999 and Stiga was selling all three below RRP on 29 September 2026. Our running-costs calculator covers blades and electricity.
