Not yet, as far as 4G goes. The TerraMow Mini 500 connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. TerraMow's spec table lists 4G as an optional module, but on 29 September 2026 it was marked "launch soon", so there was no way to add it.

The product page's safety section does list GPS tracking, geofencing and a lift alert. Without a mobile connection, it's unclear how useful tracking would be once the mower leaves your Wi-Fi range, and TerraMow doesn't explain this. That's a contrast with the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000), which has 4G built in with a year of data.

It's a reasonable buy if you'd want a garage anyway. The TerraMow Mini 500 is sold in two listings that contain the same mower: one on its own at £656 and one with TerraMow's garage at £700. TerraMow also sells the garage separately. Note that these sterling prices look like automatic conversions from euros, so they may move.

A garage shades the mower and base from sun and heavy rain and can keep leaves off the charging contacts. The Mini 500 already carries an IPX6 rating, so it isn't essential, and it shouldn't be left out through a hard winter either way. Both versions were sold out on 29 September 2026. For now, yes. The TerraMow S Series (S800 / S1200) is sold out and has gone from TerraMow's product listing, but TerraMow still sells S-series batteries, adapters and base stations as spares, and its razor blade set is listed as fitting all models.

The warranty for the S800 and S1200 is 2 years, a year less than the V series gets, and blades aren't covered. TerraMow says full cover applies to direct purchases serviced in the country of purchase, so a mower bought abroad may be treated differently. TerraMow hasn't published an end-of-life notice or said how long the app will support the S series. If you're buying one second-hand, check it still pairs with the app before paying.

Not if your S series is working well. The TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) is the direct replacement for the TerraMow S Series (S800 / S1200), and it's better on paper, but the upgrade is worth it mainly if your old mower is out of warranty, needs an expensive repair, or falls short on something the V series fixes.

What the V series adds, going by TerraMow's pages: an updated camera system it calls TerraVision 2.0, electric cutting height from 25 mm to 75 mm set in the app, 4G built in with a year of data, and a warranty of 3 years on the mower against 2 years for the S series. The V series also had lower UK RRPs than the S series did.

What it doesn't change much is slope ability. TerraMow gave the S1200 a 36% rating, while the V series spec table says 32.5%, so a steep garden isn't a reason to switch. TerraMow no longer publishes most S-series specs, which makes a line-by-line comparison of area, cutting width and noise impossible.

If you do move to the V series, spares for the old mower remain on sale, and the base station and blade disc are listed as fitting both ranges. Every V series variant was sold out on 29 September 2026, so check stock first.

Directly, through TerraMow itself. There's no UK dealer network: you buy from TerraMow's own store, which sells the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) in UK-plug versions dispatched from England, and you contact TerraMow for support through its website.

TerraMow's warranty gives three years on the V series and TerraMow Mini 500 mower, base station and adapter, and two years on the battery. The older TerraMow S Series (S800 / S1200) had two years. Blades aren't covered, and TerraMow says full cover applies to direct purchases serviced in the country of purchase, so buy from the UK store rather than importing. TerraMow's contact page lists China as its country. The Mini 500 has no UK-plug version yet, so ask TerraMow how it would handle a UK warranty claim for one.

Not much beyond blades and electricity. TerraMow says every feature of the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) is unlocked with no hidden charges. The one recurring extra is 4G data: the mower comes with 12 months of data, and after that a yearly top-up is optional. TerraMow's warranty policy also mentions that you can use your own SIM.

Replacement razor blades and blade discs are sold as spares, and blades aren't covered by the warranty. The mower, base station and adapter get 3 years, but the battery gets two, so a replacement battery is the likeliest larger cost later on. Go by your lawn area, not the model names. TerraMow rates the V600 for 600 m² and the V1000 for 1,200 m², so the V1000 covers more than its name suggests. As a rule of thumb, the V600 suits lawns up to about 500 m², and the V1000 is the one for roughly 500 m² to 1,000 m², which leaves some headroom for complicated layouts.

The two versions of the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) are otherwise the same machine. They share the body, the three-camera navigation, the 203 mm deck, electric height adjustment and the 32.5% slope rating. The difference is the battery: 84.4 Wh in the V600 against 98.6 Wh in the V1000, which TerraMow says gives 150 minutes of mowing rather than 120, at the cost of a slightly longer recharge.

If you're on the boundary between the two, the bigger battery is the safer choice: a mower working near its limit has less time to catch up after a wet week.
