Which version do you need?
The V600 and V1000 share the same body, deck and cameras. The V1000 has a bigger battery, runs longer per charge and is rated for 1,200 m² rather than 600 m². Despite its name, the V1000 is the one for lawns between about 500 m² and 1,000 m²; the V600 suits smaller lawns.
How it navigates and sets up
The V series navigates with three cameras and no RTK or LiDAR. TerraMow calls the system TerraVision and says the cameras give it 3D perception for mapping, positioning and obstacle avoidance. With no wire and no satellite antenna, setup is mainly placing the base station and mapping the lawn in the app; TerraMow says it's ready in minutes. Camera-based navigation works well where there are fixed features to see, and less reliably in poor light or on wide, open lawns. Our navigation explainer covers the trade-offs.
TerraMow's spec table gives a 32.5% slope rating, and the V series weighs 11.8 kg.
Cutting
The deck is 203 mm wide and uses pivoting razor blades on a disc. Height adjusts electrically from 25 mm to 75 mm, set in the app. TerraMow claims edge-to-edge cutting where the lawn meets a flush edge on level ground, with an edge offset you can adjust in the app. At a quoted 54 dB(A), it should be quiet by robot mower standards.
App, connectivity and security
The TerraMow app handles mapping and schedules; TerraMow doesn't publish a zone limit. Wi-Fi and 4G are built in, with 12 months of data included. TerraMow lists anti-theft protection but gives few details of what it covers. Rain detection is included.
Running costs, warranty and support
TerraMow gives 3 years on the mower, base station and adapter, and two years on the battery; blades aren't covered, and full cover applies to direct purchases serviced in the country of purchase. TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) questions and answers
Is it worth replacing a TerraMow S series with the newer V series?
Not if your S series is working well. The TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) is the direct replacement for the TerraMow S Series (S800 / S1200), and it's better on paper, but the upgrade is worth it mainly if your old mower is out of warranty, needs an expensive repair, or falls short on something the V series fixes.
What the V series adds, going by TerraMow's pages: an updated camera system it calls TerraVision 2.0, electric cutting height from 25 mm to 75 mm set in the app, 4G built in with a year of data, and a warranty of 3 years on the mower against 2 years for the S series. The V series also had lower UK RRPs than the S series did.
What it doesn't change much is slope ability. TerraMow gave the S1200 a 36% rating, while the V series spec table says 32.5%, so a steep garden isn't a reason to switch. TerraMow no longer publishes most S-series specs, which makes a line-by-line comparison of area, cutting width and noise impossible.
If you do move to the V series, spares for the old mower remain on sale, and the base station and blade disc are listed as fitting both ranges. Every V series variant was sold out on 29 September 2026, so check stock first.
What will a TerraMow V series cost to run after the first year?
Not much beyond blades and electricity. TerraMow says every feature of the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) is unlocked with no hidden charges. The one recurring extra is 4G data: the mower comes with 12 months of data, and after that a yearly top-up is optional. TerraMow's warranty policy also mentions that you can use your own SIM.
Replacement razor blades and blade discs are sold as spares, and blades aren't covered by the warranty. The mower, base station and adapter get 3 years, but the battery gets two, so a replacement battery is the likeliest larger cost later on. TerraMow V600 or V1000: which size do I need?
Go by your lawn area, not the model names. TerraMow rates the V600 for 600 m² and the V1000 for 1,200 m², so the V1000 covers more than its name suggests. As a rule of thumb, the V600 suits lawns up to about 500 m², and the V1000 is the one for roughly 500 m² to 1,000 m², which leaves some headroom for complicated layouts.
The two versions of the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000) are otherwise the same machine. They share the body, the three-camera navigation, the 203 mm deck, electric height adjustment and the 32.5% slope rating. The difference is the battery: 84.4 Wh in the V600 against 98.6 Wh in the V1000, which TerraMow says gives 150 minutes of mowing rather than 120, at the cost of a slightly longer recharge.
If you're on the boundary between the two, the bigger battery is the safer choice: a mower working near its limit has less time to catch up after a wet week. Can I buy a TerraMow V1000 in the UK?
TerraMow sells UK-plug versions in pounds through its own store, dispatched from England. On 29 September 2026 every V600 and V1000 variant was sold out, so check stock before planning around one.
Does the TerraMow V series need RTK or a wire?
Neither. It navigates with three cameras, so there's no perimeter wire and no RTK antenna. Camera navigation needs reasonable light and visible features, so it may be less suited to very open lawns.
Is there a subscription?
TerraMow says all features are unlocked with no hidden charges. The mower comes with a year of 4G data; after that, a yearly data top-up is optional.
How steep a slope can it handle?
TerraMow's spec table gives 18°, or 32.5%. That suits gentle slopes; for steeper banks look at an all-wheel-drive mower.
