Which version do you need?
The two listings are the same mower. One comes with TerraMow's garage in the box; the other doesn't, and the garage is also sold separately. Choose the bundle if you want a cover over the base station.
How it navigates and sets up
Like the V series, the Mini 500 uses TerraMow's triple-camera vision system, with no perimeter wire, RTK or LiDAR. You place the base station, map the lawn in the app and set schedules. That makes it one of the simpler installs, as long as your garden gives the cameras enough to see; very open lawns and poor light are harder for camera-only mowers. See our navigation explainer.
TerraMow rates the Mini 500 for 32.5% slopes, so it's meant for flat or gently sloping lawns. It weighs 10.1 kg.
Cutting
The cutting width is 180 mm, with height set by hand from 20 mm to 60 mm. TerraMow claims it can ride along flush edges to cut the lawn border, with the edge offset adjustable section by section. That's the manufacturer's claim; kerbs, raised beds and lawn edging make a difference. It is quoted at 56 dB(A), which is quiet for a robot mower.
App, connectivity and security
The mower connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. TerraMow lists 4G as an optional module but marked it "launch soon". TerraMow hasn't confirmed the app name for the Mini 500 or whether it needs a subscription; its "no hidden charges" statement appears on the V series page, not this one. The safety section lists GPS tracking, geofencing and a lift alert. How useful remote tracking is without 4G is unclear.
Running costs, warranty and support

Does the TerraMow Mini 500 have 4G and anti-theft tracking?
Not yet, as far as 4G goes. The TerraMow Mini 500 connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. TerraMow's spec table lists 4G as an optional module, but on 29 September 2026 it was marked "launch soon", so there was no way to add it.
The product page's safety section does list GPS tracking, geofencing and a lift alert. Without a mobile connection, it's unclear how useful tracking would be once the mower leaves your Wi-Fi range, and TerraMow doesn't explain this. That's a contrast with the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000), which has 4G built in with a year of data.

Is the TerraMow Mini 500 garage bundle worth paying extra for?
It's a reasonable buy if you'd want a garage anyway. The TerraMow Mini 500 is sold in two listings that contain the same mower: one on its own at £656 and one with TerraMow's garage at £700. TerraMow also sells the garage separately. Note that these sterling prices look like automatic conversions from euros, so they may move.
A garage shades the mower and base from sun and heavy rain and can keep leaves off the charging contacts. The Mini 500 already carries an IPX6 rating, so it isn't essential, and it shouldn't be left out through a hard winter either way. Both versions were sold out on 29 September 2026.
