Probably, but we couldn't confirm the details. Yarbo's website sends UK visitors to a store priced in pounds, but that store blocked our automated checks, so we couldn't see UK product listings, stock or prices.

Two mowing options exist for the Y40 core: the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro and the original Yarbo Lawn Mower, each sold with the core, with the core plus a trimmer, or as a module on its own for existing owners. A smaller M Series has been announced but isn't sold on any Yarbo store, so we don't list it.

The warranty we could read is 2 years on the core and module, from Yarbo's EU terms; the longer extension is for the US and Canada only. Confirm price, warranty and who handles UK repairs before ordering. The Yarbo brand page lists both models.

Not completely, whatever the marketing says. Yarbo's product page for the Yarbo Lawn Mower advertises edge-to-edge cutting, but Yarbo also sells a separate trimmer module designed to deal with edges, which tells you something.

The cutting deck is 500 mm wide, made up of two floating discs with five razor blades each, on a tracked chassis. That layout suits long straight runs, but it can't get into tight corners, around posts or alongside raised beds. Plan on some strimming, or budget for the trimmer module if you want the machine to handle more of that work. The cutting height runs from 30 mm to 102 mm. For most back gardens, yes. The Yarbo Lawn Mower is a mowing module for Yarbo's tracked Y40 core, and it's built for plots measured in acres rather than a lawn of a few hundred square metres.

Yarbo rates it for 25,000 m², but that figure assumes mowing twice a week on a long schedule. Going by Yarbo's own runtime numbers it covers roughly 1,000 m² per charge, measured on an 80% to 20% battery cycle. Even so, a machine that size is designed around big open areas.

The physical size matters more in a small garden. With the module fitted it weighs 96.9 kg and cuts a 500 mm strip. A deck that wide on a tracked chassis struggles to reach tight corners and narrow strips beside beds, and it needs somewhere to live and a route between lawn areas. It also comes with an RTK station to mount and wire in. Yarbo hasn't published UK prices we could confirm, but its other stores list it at several times the cost of a typical garden robot mower.

Where it makes sense is a large, rough or sloping plot, especially if you'd also use the snow blower or leaf blower modules on the same core. On paper, yes. Yarbo rates the Y40 core with the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro module for 70% slopes, which is about 35 degrees, and it runs on tracks rather than wheels, which spread its weight and grip better on uneven ground. Yarbo quotes an obstacle clearance of 50 mm.

The weight cuts both ways. At 98.2 kg with the module fitted, it's far heavier than a normal robot mower, so soft or waterlogged ground can get churned up, and you can't carry it past an obstacle. Wet grass also reduces grip on any slope, so treat the maximum as a best case. Our slopes guide explains what the percentages mean in practice.

It depends on where you live. The Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro steers by RTK satellite positioning, and every Y40 bundle ships with Yarbo's Data Center, a local reference station. Where Yarbo's network RTK reaches your address, you can mow without that station instead.

The Data Center is an outdoor antenna that Yarbo says should be mounted high up and connected to your router by cable. It also carries Yarbo's HaLow long-range Wi-Fi link to the machine. Pick a spot with a clear view of the sky, away from tall trees and walls, because RTK accuracy suffers when the antenna or the mower can't see enough satellites.

Since August 2026 Yarbo has offered network RTK free for the life of the machine, but only where it has coverage. The app checks this address by address, and we couldn't confirm what UK coverage looks like. Yarbo also says the local station and network RTK can't run at the same time, and switching from one to the other means recalibrating your map, so decide early which you'll use.

It keeps mowing. Yarbo includes 12 months of 4G service with its Y40 mowers, and after that the plan is paid, but Yarbo says mowing, mapping and scheduling carry on over home Wi-Fi or the HaLow link from its Data Center base station. There is no subscription needed to cut the grass.

What you lose without an active 4G plan is the stuff that works away from home. Yarbo lists remote access beyond your Wi-Fi range, live camera view over the mobile network, and GPS tracking with geofence alerts as 4G features. That last one matters for a large, expensive machine that may sit in an open field, so think about whether you'd renew for the security side alone.

Yarbo publishes 4G plan prices in euros and dollars on its other stores; we couldn't see a sterling price, because the UK store blocked our checks. Yarbo also says most, not all, models ship with the 4G kit built in, so confirm it's included in the bundle you buy.

Separately, Yarbo's network RTK service has been free for life since August 2026 where coverage exists, so positioning doesn't add a recurring fee either.
