Which version do you need?
The i208, i215 and i220 share the same body, cutting deck and navigation; they differ in battery, rated area and run time. The i220 runs the longest per charge. The i210 LiDAR is also sold, but Navimow's store lists it as 600 m², which doesn't match its name, so check with the seller before choosing it.
How it navigates and sets up
The i2 LiDAR is the no-RTK member of Segway Navimow's 2026 i2 range. It combines a solid-state 3D LiDAR sensor with a wide-angle camera, and doesn't use satellite corrections at all. LiDAR builds a picture of the garden from distances to fixed features, so it keeps working under trees and close to houses where RTK mowers can lose accuracy. There is no wire, no aerial and no need for mobile signal to navigate; you place the charging station and map the lawn in the app.
The flip side is that LiDAR needs something to measure against. A lawn in the middle of an open paddock gives it little to work with. See our navigation guide for how the approaches compare.
Navimow's UK spec table lists rear-wheel drive and a 45% slope rating, with obstacles up to 30 mm. For steeper gardens, the Segway Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro adds all-wheel drive.
Cutting
A single disc with six blades cuts a 220 mm strip, wider than the i2 AWD. Height is adjusted electrically from the app, from 20 mm to 70 mm. Run time per charge is 110 min–210 min across the range. Navimow quotes 59 dB(A), measured without cutting.
App, connectivity and security
The Navimow app manages up to 20 zones and schedules. 4G is built in with 12 months of data, and security includes a PIN, GPS tracking and alarms when the mower is lifted or leaves its map. Navimow doesn't list a rain sensor. Alexa and Google Home are supported.
Running costs, warranty and support
The mower and charging station are covered for 3 years, the battery for two years; blades aren't covered. A paid one-year extension is offered. 4G data needs a paid renewal after the first year if you want remote features. Prices start from £999.

Should I choose the Automower 310E NERA or a Navimow i2 LiDAR for a mid-sized lawn?
It depends mainly on your garden's sky view and how much you want to spend. The Husqvarna Automower 310E NERA steers by satellite RTK with corrections over Wi-Fi, so it suits open lawns. The Segway Navimow i2 LiDAR uses LiDAR with a camera and no RTK, which Segway pitches at enclosed gardens with trees and buildings.
On paper the Navimow is rated for steeper slopes (45% against 30%), has built-in 4G and a longer 3 years warranty, and costs less, from £999. The Husqvarna answers with its EdgeCut disc, a UK dealer network for installation and servicing, and the option of a boundary wire where satellite signal is poor. It costs from £1,949.

How is the i2 LiDAR different from the i2 AWD and i2 LiDAR Pro?
The i2 LiDAR navigates with LiDAR plus a camera and doesn't use RTK at all; the i2 AWD uses network RTK plus a camera; the i2 LiDAR Pro uses all three. The i2 LiDAR is two-wheel drive and rated for 45%, while the Pro has all-wheel drive and a 55% rating. Both LiDAR models have the wider 220 mm cut and app-set height.
Does the i2 LiDAR need 4G or a satellite signal?
Not to navigate. It positions itself from LiDAR and its camera, so it works where RTK struggles. 4G is built in for remote control, tracking and alerts.
Will it work on a large open lawn?
LiDAR measures distances to walls, fences, trees and other fixed features. On a big open lawn with little around it, a model that also uses RTK, such as the i2 LiDAR Pro, is the safer choice.
Is there a subscription?
No subscription is needed to mow. The first year of 4G data is included; after that, a paid renewal keeps remote and anti-theft features working.
