Lidl and Aldi sell own-brand robot mowers in short seasonal drops rather than all year. Lidl's is the Parkside, which we track. Aldi sells robot mowers under its Ferrex brand from time to time. This page lists current supermarket prices when there are any, and explains what to expect from these budget mowers.

What you get from a supermarket robot mower
Supermarket robot mowers are simple, low-cost machines. Lidl's current model, the Parkside 20V Robot Lawnmower, is rated for up to 500 m², uses a perimeter wire that you lay yourself, and is set up on the mower rather than through an app. Lidl quotes a 47% slope rating and a warranty of 3 years. Its price, RRP £149.99, is a fraction of what most branded robot mowers cost.
The trade-offs are the ones you'd expect at this price: no app, no zones on a map, no theft tracking and a short run per charge. For a small, simple lawn that may be all you need.
How we track supermarket deals
We check Lidl's and Aldi's UK product listings for robot mowers and show a price only while one is listed. The drop itself is usually the deal, but any tracked price that falls further is flagged using the same rules as the rest of the site:
- The price is at least 7% below that retailer’s median price over the last 30 days, or
- it is the lowest price we’ve seen at that retailer in 90 days.
- We need at least 14 days of price history before we call anything a deal.
Because supermarket stock is often in-store only and sells out quickly, a listing can disappear within days.

Frequently asked questions
When do Aldi and Lidl sell robot mowers?
Neither supermarket publishes a fixed schedule. Robot mowers usually appear in their seasonal garden ranges, which tend to be in spring, and stock is limited. We check the supermarkets' sites for new listings and update this page when one goes on sale.
Is the Lidl Parkside robot mower any good?
On paper it's a basic wired mower for small lawns at a very low price, with no app. Our Parkside model page covers what it can and can't do, based on Lidl's specifications and manual. We haven't tested it hands-on.
Which Aldi robot mower models do you track?
None at the moment. Aldi's Ferrex robot mowers appear only occasionally and weren't on sale when we last checked. When one is listed on Aldi's UK site, we'll add it with its specifications and price.
What warranty do supermarket robot mowers have?
Lidl states a three-year guarantee on the Parkside robot mower, handled through Lidl Customer Care. Aldi sets the warranty for each product, so check the terms on the listing when a Ferrex mower is on sale.
