Nothing has dropped enough to count as a deal
We check every tracked price several times a day. A drop appears here automatically when a price falls at least 7% below its 30-day typical or hits a 90-day low, and disappears when it goes back up.
How deals are picked
We don't take retailers' word for their discounts. A price appears here only when it meets our deal rules for the same model at the same retailer:
- The price is at least 7% below that retailer’s median price over the last 30 days, or
- it is the lowest price we’ve seen at that retailer in 90 days.
- We need at least 14 days of price history before we call anything a deal.
During Black Friday week we switch to peak checking, so the most popular models and the manufacturer stores are checked roughly every two hours instead of every six. Deals drop off the list automatically when a price goes back up.
What to expect
Robot mowers are an unusual Black Friday product. The mowing season is over, so there's less demand, and some brands use late autumn to clear the current range before launching new models in the new year. That can mean genuine savings on outgoing models, and fewer on the newest ones.
A few things to check before you buy:
- Is a replacement coming? A big drop on an older model is fine if it suits your garden, but check the model page for its status.
- Warranty start date. Most warranties start from purchase, not first use. Check whether registering the mower adds anything.
- Returns. You may not be able to set the mower up properly until spring. Read the retailer's returns terms, and check any faults as soon as you can.
- Price history. Each model page shows recent prices, so you can see how this drop compares.

Frequently asked questions
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a robot mower?
It can be. Robot mowers sell most in spring, so late November is out of season, and some brands and retailers cut prices to clear stock before new models arrive. The trade-off is that the mower may sit in a shed until March, and a new model might be announced before then.
Are Black Friday discounts genuine?
Some are, some aren't. A retailer can show a high 'was' price that it rarely charged. We only list a drop when the price is at least 7% below that retailer's own 30-day typical price or is its lowest in 90 days, based on prices we recorded ourselves.
Should I wait for Black Friday or buy in spring?
If your current mower works and you're not in a hurry, watching autumn prices costs nothing. If you need a mower for the coming season and see a genuine drop in spring, the saving from waiting may be small. Price history on each model page shows how prices have moved.
