Who makes Flymo robot mowers?

Flymo is part of Husqvarna Group, the Swedish company that also owns Husqvarna and GARDENA. The operator's manuals and declarations of conformity for Flymo's robot mowers are issued by Husqvarna AB in Sweden, and Flymo's UK website runs on the same platform as GARDENA's.

Flymo itself started in the UK. Its About Us page dates the idea to 1964 and first sales to 1965, and says its first robot, the Flymo 1200R, was launched in 2014 for the brand's 50th birthday. The current range is the Flymo EasiLife GO, Flymo EasiLife and Flymo UltraLife, all boundary-wire mowers aimed at small and medium UK lawns.

The Husqvarna Group link shows in a few places. The UltraLife works with the GARDENA smart system through a GARDENA Gateway, and the robots use pivoting razor blades on a disc, a design also used by Husqvarna's Automower range. They're still distinct products, though: Flymo robots use their own Flymo EasiLife app and are sold through general retailers rather than Husqvarna's Automower dealers.

For support, Flymo gives robot owners a standard two-year warranty, extended to three years in total if you register within three months, and runs a UK robot customer service line.
