Can I still get parts and a new battery for a Flymo 1200R?

Possibly, but don't count on it. The Flymo 1200R was launched in 2014 and is no longer in Flymo's UK robot range. Its operator's manual is still on Flymo's UK manuals page, but Flymo doesn't list 1200R parts on its UK site, so you'd need to rely on spares specialists and second-hand listings.

The battery is the part most likely to need replacing. The manual lists an 18 V pack of 37.8 Wh, and a lithium-ion battery of that age will have lost a good share of its capacity, meaning shorter mowing sessions and more trips back to the charger. Before buying a used 1200R, or spending money repairing one, check that a compatible battery is actually available and what it costs.

Blades are simpler: it uses three pivoting blades, a common design, but check that any pack you buy lists the 1200R by name. Breaks in the boundary wire can usually be mended with waterproof wire connectors, a general fix that doesn't depend on the model.

Flymo, part of Husqvarna Group, still runs a UK robot customer service line, and it's worth calling them with your serial number before you order anything. If the battery, charging station or power supply turn out to be hard to find, a current Flymo EasiLife is likely to make more sense than a costly repair.
