eufy E15 vs E18: is the bigger eufy worth tracking down?

Who each one is for

These two are the same mower sold under different ratings. They share eufy's camera-only navigation, cutting deck, battery, built-in 4G and the garage in the UK box. The practical question is whether your lawn needs the E18's higher rating, and whether you can still buy one.

The eufy Robot Lawn Mower E15 suits flat or gently sloping lawns up to about 650 m², gardens with trees or buildings, and buyers who want 4G theft tracking without an add-on. It's eufy's current model.

The eufy Robot Lawn Mower E18 suits lawns of about 800 m² to 1,000 m² where camera navigation works, but only for bargain hunters: eufy UK no longer lists it.

Navigation and set-up

Both navigate with eufy's V-FSD stereo camera system, which recognises grass, edges and obstacles. There's no wire, no RTK station and no antenna to place. The GNSS receiver is used for anti-theft tracking, not navigation, so tree cover and tall buildings don't affect mowing the way they affect RTK mowers.

Camera systems have their own limits. eufy asks you to clear or mark as no-go anything under 5 cm tall, and night mowing gives the cameras the least to see. Our navigation guide covers the trade-offs.

Lawn size: the only real difference

The E15 is rated for 800 m² and the E18 for 1,200 m². With a 203 mm cut and the same 93.2 Wh battery on both, a lawn near the top of either rating means long mowing days. Choose a rating comfortably above your lawn: for the E15, that means lawns up to about 650 m².

Slopes

Both are rated for 32.5%, about 18 degrees. eufy's own copy also calls this 40%, which doesn't match the angle; we use the lower figure. That's modest for a wire-free mower at this price, so check our slopes guide if your garden isn't flat.

Cutting and noise

Cutting is identical: three steel blades on a disc, with height set in the app from 25 mm to 75 mm. Edge cutting is partial, and eufy says grass within about 10 cm of walls may need trimming by hand.

eufy's manual gives a measured sound power of 66.3 dB(A) for both, on the loud side for a robot mower. eufy's headline figure is lower because it quotes sound pressure instead.

4G, subscription and security

Both have 4G built in, alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Mowing doesn't need a plan, but 4G remote control and GPS theft tracking need a paid data plan once eufy's free trial data runs out; eufy doesn't say how long that lasts. The one hardware-related difference eufy quotes is tracking accuracy: 2–5 m for the E18 against 20–30 m for the E15. Our theft and security guide explains what tracking can and can't do.

Warranty and price

Both carry eufy UK's 2 years warranty on the mower, base station, adaptor and battery when bought direct, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on direct orders. For an E18 bought elsewhere, check the seller is authorised. The E15 starts from £1,159, and eufy has run large discounts on it. The E18's last list price was £1,799–£1,828.99.

Verdict

For almost everyone, the E15 is the one to buy. It's the same machine, it's still sold and supported by eufy UK, and it covers lawns up to about 650 m² comfortably.

An E18 only makes sense if your lawn is genuinely over 800 m², you find new stock well below the E15's price, and the warranty is confirmed. Neither is right for sloping gardens or lawns over about 1,000 m²: a current LiDAR or RTK mower with a higher slope rating is the safer long-term buy there.
