How long is the Husqvarna Automower warranty in the UK, and can I extend it?

Husqvarna UK gives consumers a 24-month limited warranty on its Automower robot mowers, and the battery is covered for the same 24 months. If the mower is used professionally, for example by a gardener or grounds business, the warranty drops to 12 months.

On extending it, Husqvarna UK does sell Warranty Plus, a four-year contract for robotic mowers, but it markets that to professional customers. There's no consumer extended warranty on its UK website. If a retailer or dealer offers its own cover or service plan, ask what's included and who carries out the work.

That two-year term is shorter than some rivals: several wire-free brands, Mammotion among them, offer three years as standard. What Husqvarna offers instead is its UK dealer network, which installs boundary wires and add-ons such as the EPOS RS1 reference station and Connect Kit, and carries out servicing and repairs. For a mower you expect to keep for many years, a local dealer who can replace parts may matter more than an extra year of paper cover.
