Which version do you need?
Mammotion sold the 600 and 800 through its UK store. Both use RTK plus cameras; the 800 has nearly three times the run time on Mammotion's spec sheet. The 500 and the camera-only Vision 700 appear in Mammotion's UK spec sheet and warranty statement but were never listed on its UK store, so any UK unit is likely to be an import. The Vision 700 has no RTK and manages only three zones.
How it navigates and sets up
The YUKA mini is wire-free. The 500, 600 and 800 use RTK positioning with cameras for obstacle detection; corrections come from the base station in the box or from Mammotion's network RTK service over 4G. The Vision 700 relies on cameras alone, with no RTK. You map the lawn in the Mammotion app.
It is rear-wheel drive, rated for 45%–50% slopes depending on version. Our navigation guide explains when RTK or camera navigation works better.
Cutting
A single floating disc with five pivoting blades cuts a 190 mm strip, with height from 20 mm to 60 mm. Mammotion says it can ride along an edge only where there is a level path beside the lawn, so borders next to beds or walls will need trimming. Run time per charge is 55 min–150 min depending on version. Mammotion doesn't publish a noise figure.
App, connectivity and security
The app manages up to 3–15 zones depending on version, schedules and GPS tracking with a geofence alarm. The 600 and 800 were sold with 12 months of 4G data. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant.
Running costs, warranty and support
Mammotion's UK warranty statement lists 3 years including the battery, counted from the original purchase. Blades are cheap consumables.
Should you still buy one?
Only as a bargain. The RRP was £849–£1,049, and the Mammotion YUKA mini 2 now starts from £799 with more 4G data and a LiDAR option. A used YUKA mini makes sense for a small, open, fairly flat lawn if the price is low, the base station is included and the battery is healthy.

Can the YUKA mini handle slopes?
Mammotion rates the RTK versions for 50% and the Vision 700 for 45%. It's rear-wheel drive, so wet slopes reduce grip.
