Which version do you need?
Two models: the 4400 and the 6500. Kress names them by maximum area on a 72-hour cycle; its recommended figures are 3,000 m² and 5,000 m². Both share the 35 cm dual-blade deck, 45% slope rating and OAS obstacle avoidance. Choose using the recommended figure.
How it navigates and sets up
The Mission Mega follows a boundary wire laid round the lawn and around any no-go areas. That's reliable under trees and near buildings, where satellite-guided mowers can struggle, but on a lawn this size the wire is long, and repairs after digging or edging take time to track down. Kress sells only through dealers, who normally carry out the installation. Kress also sells a magnetic strip for marking areas.
Kress rates it for slopes up to 45%. The names give maximum areas of 4,400–6,500 m², but Kress's recommended figures are lower (see above). At 19 kg–19.5 kg, it's a substantial machine.
Cutting
The deck is 350 mm wide, with dual blades, much wider than most domestic robot mowers. That's what lets it cover large areas. Height is adjusted electrically from 30 mm to 60 mm. Kress quotes a perceived sound level of 59 dB(A). Kress doesn't publish edge-cutting details for the Mega.
App, connectivity and security
The Mega connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Kress lists GeoTrace tracking as fitted but doesn't list 4G, so ask the dealer how tracking works away from Wi-Fi. Running costs, warranty and support
The residential warranty is 2 years, plus a year if you register within 30 days; batteries have one year, and commercial use gets shorter cover. Kress sells blades, spike wheels and a dedicated garage for the Mega.
On 29 September 2026 Kress's UK site listed both Mega models, and the wired Mission range, at exactly half price. Kress hasn't said whether that's a promotion or a clearance. Ask your dealer about parts availability before buying. Listed RRPs run from £1,749–£2,199; the lowest price we currently track is RRP £1,749.
