Which version do you need?
The i105E and i108E share the same body, deck and navigation. The i108E has double the battery capacity, double the run time and a bigger rated area. Navimow's UK store listed the i108E at a price well above the i105E, higher than some i2 models, so compare against the i2 range before buying.
How it navigates and sets up
The i Series, which Segway Navimow now labels i1, was its first compact wire-free mower, launched in 2024. It uses RTK positioning from its own satellite aerial, which you install near the charging station, and a wide-angle camera that spots obstacles and helps hold its position when the satellite signal drops. You map the lawn with the app. Installing the aerial is a self-install job, but it's an extra step the newer i2 models don't have. Our navigation guide explains how RTK works.
It is front-wheel drive and rated for 30% slopes, dropping to 10% at the boundary according to the manual. Navimow also asks for passages of at least 100 cm between areas, which is wide.
Cutting
A single disc with three blades cuts a 180 mm strip, with height set by hand between 20 mm and 60 mm. An edge mode lets it straddle flat borders. The manual declares a sound power level of 58 dB(A) to the European mower standard, which is a more rigorous kind of figure than the no-load numbers many brands quote. Run time is 60 min–120 min.
App, connectivity and security
The Navimow app covers up to 12 zones and schedules, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in. 4G, remote control away from home and GPS tracking need the Access+ module. A PIN lock is standard, and it works with Alexa and Google Home.
Running costs, warranty and support
Navimow covers the mower for 3 years and the battery for two years. Blades are wear parts. The Access+ module adds a yearly data cost after the first year if you want tracking. Prices start from £699, but check stock.

Does the Navimow i Series need a perimeter wire?
No. It uses RTK satellite positioning from an aerial you install near the charging station, with a camera for obstacles and as a fallback when the satellite signal is weak.
i Series or i2?
The i2 range drops the aerial (using network RTK over 4G, LiDAR, or both), has 4G built in, and raises the slope rating to 45% or 55%. Unless the i Series is much cheaper, the i2 AWD is the better buy for a small lawn.
Does it have 4G anti-theft tracking?
Only with Navimow's Access+ module, sold separately. It includes a year of data, then needs a paid renewal. Without it you still get a PIN lock.
How narrow a gap can it get through?
Navimow asks for passages at least 100 cm wide and 40 cm high, which rules out many side passages.
