How it navigates and sets up
The Lymow One, first crowdfunded in 2024, uses RTK positioning from a reference station supplied in the box, combined with camera-based mapping (VSLAM) and ultrasonic sensors. Lymow said that without an RTK fix it can only cover about 100–150 m², so the station needs a clear view of the sky. It runs on tracks rather than wheels and was rated for 100% slopes, with obstacles up to 50 mm. It weighs 35.2 kg. The specs here come from an archived copy of Lymow's own UK product page, as the live page no longer exists.
Cutting
The deck is 400 mm wide with two mulching blades, and height runs from 30 mm to 100 mm. Lymow quoted 68 dB(A) as a lab figure, which is noticeably louder than most robot mowers, so evening or early-morning schedules may bother neighbours.
App, connectivity and security
The One connects over 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, supports up to 80 zones and no-go zones, and returns to charge in rain. Lymow sells 4G renewals, but hasn't said whether mowing works without an active plan.

The standard warranty was 2 years, or 3 years for pre-orders and UK in-stock orders, excluding tracks and blades. Its last UK price was £1,859. Batteries and blade sets remain on sale.
Should you still buy one?
Not new: it has gone from Lymow's UK store, and the Lymow One Plus replaces it with a three-year warranty as standard. A used Lymow One could make sense for a large, steep plot if the price reflects its age. Check the warranty status (it only applies in the country of purchase), the condition of the tracks and battery, and that the RTK station is included, since the mower is of little use without it. Remember that One Plus parts won't fit, so you're relying on Lymow continuing to sell spares for the original.

Will Lymow One Plus parts fit the original Lymow One?
No. Lymow says parts for the Lymow One and the newer Lymow One Plus aren't interchangeable, even though both have the same battery capacity and a similar tracked design.
Lymow's UK store still lists spares specifically for the One: a replacement LiFePO4 battery, a rotary blade set and a swing blade set, each with two blades. The 4G service plans are sold for both models. Buy parts named for the One, not the One Plus. The One's warranty was 2 years as standard, or 3 years for pre-orders and UK in-stock orders, excluding tracks and blades, and it only applies in the country of purchase. As the model is discontinued, it's sensible to keep a spare set of blades in hand in case supply dries up.
How loud is the Lymow One compared with other robot mowers?
Louder than most. Lymow quoted 68 dB(A) for the Lymow One, marked as a lab figure. Many garden robot mowers are quoted somewhere in the mid-50s to low-60s dB(A). For example, TerraMow quotes 54 dB(A) for the TerraMow V Series (V600 / V1000), and Sunseeker quotes 60 dB(A) for the Sunseeker X7.
Decibels are logarithmic, so a difference of around 10 dB is generally perceived as roughly twice as loud. That makes the gap between the Lymow One and the quieter robot mowers noticeable, especially in a quiet street.
Lymow doesn't explain the figure, but the design is quite different from most robot mowers. The One uses rotary mulching blades across a 400 mm deck, and runs on tracks, rather than the small pivoting razor blades most robot mowers use. Larger rotary blades generally make more noise than small razor blades. Manufacturers don't all measure noise the same way, so treat any comparison as a rough guide.
In practice, keep the schedule to daytime hours. That's considerate to neighbours and also avoids night-time running, which the British Hedgehog Preservation Society advises against.
